Nutramigen® 3 LGG® Powder – Food for special medical purposes

Nutramigen 3 LGG® is an extensively hydrolyzed casein-based hypoallergenic formula for the dietary management of cow’s milk protein allergy in infants 1 year and older, as part of a diversified diet.
It must be used as part of a diverse diet to ensure that children are getting all the nutrients they need. Read some tips on using an extensively hydrolyzed formula such as Nutramigen LGG® during weaning.

Property
The cow’s milk proteins in Nutramigen 3 LGG® have been crushed (or hydrolyzed) so that the immune systems of most children with cow’s milk allergy no longer recognize them as harmful.
Nutramigen LGG® is a hypoallergenic formula that contains the probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (registered trademark LGG®); this combination aids in the management of cow’s milk protein allergy, helping children return to a normal diet faster than Nutramigen without LGG®1.

Daily Dosage
For the right quantities of boiled water and powder, follow the instructions below, unless otherwise instructed by the pediatrician

† Use only the measuring cup included in the jar to measure the powder. A level and uncompressed measuring cup (4.5 g) is added to every 30 ml of water
Preparation
Nutramigen 3 LGG® has specific preparation instructions. Carefully follow the instructions for preparation and use.
Wash your hands thoroughly. Wash and boil baby bottles, teats, caps and various utensils in water for 1 minute.
Boil more water for one minute and let it cool down to room temperature. Pour the right amount of cooled water into the bottle.
Add the right amount of powder to the water using the measuring cup (see daily dosage). Store the dry measuring cup in the jar.
Close the bottle, first rotate it in your hands and then shake it vigorously until the powder has completely dissolved. If a cup is used, stir until the powder has completely dissolved. Check the temperature on the inside of the wrist.
The product, after being prepared, is subject to rapid deterioration. Administer immediately after preparation, otherwise cover the preparation and store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-4 ° C for no more than 24 hours. Do not freeze the prepared formula and do not use it if it has been out of the refrigerator for more than 2 hours.
Use the preparation that has been in contact with the infant’s mouth within 1 hour and do not place the bottle in the refrigerator. Throw away any residual product in the bottle and carefully clean the utensils.
Do not use microwave ovens to heat the preparation.
Nutramigen 3 LGG Complete powder 400g
Nutramigen 3 LGG® Complete is a hypoallergenic milk replacer containing highly hydrolyzed casein hydrolysate for use in children with cow’s milk protein allergy over 1 year of age. This product should be used as part of a varied diet to provide the child with all the necessary nutrients.
Nutramigen 3 LGG® Complete is a food for special medical purposes and should be used under the supervision of a physician.
Properties
Cow’s milk proteins contained in Nutramigen 3 LGG® Complete have been broken down into small pieces (i.e. subjected to a hydrolysis process), so they are not recognized as a harmful element by the immune system of most children with cow’s milk protein allergy.
